“ What a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop and eatery! I ordered a lavender latte made with house-made lavender syrup, paired with a breakfast quesadilla - breakfast options are served all day. The menu is straightforward, offering homemade soups, salads, burritos, wraps and sandwiches. If I had to choose a word or two to describe the food offerings, it would be QUALITY INGREDIENTS. The bakery case is filled with tempting pastries, from scones to coconut macarons, including gluten-free options. They also offer a selection of wine and local beers, along with drinks like kombucha and coconut water, house made lemonade and teas and of course, espresso-based drinks with a few house espresso based specialty drinks like an orange blossom latte. The quality of the coffee and espresso is excellent—it's fair trade, carbon negative, and truly embodies the F.R.C. ethos: Fresh, Local, Independent, with a "tiny footprint." The cafe also supports local artists, featuring a monthly rotating exhibit on the walls, with pieces available for purchase directly from the baristas. They offer a great selection of merch, including t-shirts, coffee mugs, and retail coffee, house made granola as well as artisan-made candles and earrings from locals. The seasonal patio is a delightful spot to enjoy your meal, play a little foosball, or just relax. The staff is warm and welcoming, making this Longfellow neighborhood treasure a must-visit. “ I was looking for a breakfast restaurant before my trip to Minnehaha Falls. Being a tourist in town, you only rely on Google maps and the reviewers' suggestions. This small spot caught my attention. We were greeted by a friendly face. I told her that we were new and didn't know their menu. She explained everything well. We ordered turkey paninis, their breakfast sandwich with chicken. They both were delicious. I highly recommend the turkey panini! Their cold brew was delicious and fresh. The environment was pretty cool. The owner, I assume, asked me if we liked the food and about our experience, which was nice. Good spot to get together with your friends in the morning for a chitchat over beverages and/or food. ”
“ Wonderful people. Wonderful espresso. Wonderful food. Wonderful vibes. What more can you ask for from your local, neighborhood cafe? The cold brew is second-to-none and their miels are awesome! The breakfast sandwich or Fireroast quesadillas are both great options, or their apple crumble muffins and espresso brownie bites if you just need a snack! They also have a barista who always plays the best music to set the vibe! ”
“ Their coffee is so good!! I tried one of their seasonal specials, the iced orange blossom black cardamom latte and I loved it! It was perfectly sweet and really well balanced with the espresso. Inside there’s a good amount of seating and free WiFi to work. Everyone was so friendly and street parking was very easy to find. I’d love to come back and try their food and bakery items! ”

Ambient music stays background supportive for remote work, a short small business meeting, or a date. My go-to (12 oz breve with an extra shot) is done just right - fresh, flavorful and strong. ”

“ No idea how I haven’t been here until now. The food. The drinks. The atmosphere. The staff. All 10/10. I had a Carmel latte with homeade syrup (my fav) and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was huge and filling. All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked so good I wanted to try one of everything. The staff were so friendly and it was the perfect environment to get work done while also getting some sunshine from the bright windows in front! Free street parking out front and free wifi. Will 100% be back. ”
